This application will be used to assess potential matches to dogs. Once you are approved, the application does not need to be filled out again, as the Border Tails Rescue team will refer back to it if needed. If you are applying for a specific dog, we get back to applications within 24-48 hours and only set appointments for specific dogs 24 hours in advance. We ask that when you apply, you are ready to adopt a dog (it doesn’t have to be a specific dog) in the next few days. If you are not ready to adopt now, please include that on the application so our adoption counselors do not try to call you to set up an appointment. Please, please fill this out truthfully and honestly- take the time to let us get to know you so we can find the perfect match!
By filling out this application you understand that Border Tails Rescue has the right to deny adoption for any reason they see fit. Indicating that you are interested in a specific pet does not guarantee adoption of that pet. Border Tails Rescue works to ensure that each pet is the perfect match for their adoptive family.
