Flight Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in being a flight volunteer for Border Tails Rescue. Flight volunteers are an integral part of our operations to transport dogs from Mexico to Chicago. You can either fly into Midway or O’hare. Please fill out the form below to the best of your knowledge. Our partners in Mexico will meet you at the airport to check in the dogs you are transporting and ensure that everything runs smoothly. A flight volunteer’s only responsibility is to claim the dogs in the baggage claim after customs and a team member from Border Tails Rescue will be waiting outside of customs to receive the dogs. There is no cost and no hassle to you, but you will change the life of the dogs you transport forever. Generally, our dogs go in cargo but if there is an opportunity for a dog to go in the cabin with you, our team will discuss that.
